Shoppers Drug Mart wanted to celebrate their bi-annual Top Picks program by utilizing augmented reality (AR) to engage customers in a 5 day experiential marketing activation at Sherway Gardens mall. The caveat for this client was the AR experience had to be as frictionless as possible, so MetaVRse was tasked with creating a new type of AR that required no application to download, completely browser-based. MetaVRse created the world’s first WebAR platform for this activation with only 6 weeks to pull the project together.
