Extality’s origins in the XR landscape lie in games development, building engines and developing titles like Zombie Gunship. It seemed like the smart move at the time; for most people, their introduction to the world of VR was through gaming, either as a far-off future technology, or once devices like the Oculus Quest started making vibrations.

But while, sure, gaming is bound to reap the benefits of VR, the technology wasn’t just limited to mowing down zombies. Arash Keshmirian started to see the writing on the wall – virtual reality had way more to offer, particularly in the realm of industry and commerce. That’s when Arash pivoted and founded Extality, to address the needs of enterprise with the technology behind zombie shooters.
